AI does the work.

Why are you needed?

Your Human Intelligence.

We help you reclaim it.

For a century, we built careers and organizations around technical skill. Knowledge. Process. Analysis.

AI does all of that now. Faster, cheaper, and at scale.

Why are you needed?

The answer is Human Intelligence.

  • Curate. Trusting your gut. Sound judgment and discernment under uncertainty.

  • Create. Thinking outside the box. Bringing something genuinely new into the world.

  • Relate. Stepping into someone else's shoes. Building trust through genuine human connection.

These are the capabilities AI cannot replicate. They are your answer to the question. They are what makes you needed.

They are also — not coincidentally — when people feel most alive.

And yet Human Intelligence is declining. Across organizations, across industries, across generations of knowledge workers.

Not because people have changed. Because the environments we built for technical work actively suppress Human Intelligence.

Most organizations respond by doing more of what hasn't worked. More training. More content. More courses. But Human Intelligence doesn't develop through content. It develops through conditions.

Content works for technical skills. Human Intelligence requires conditions.

Three conditions determine whether Human Intelligence flourishes or goes dormant.

  • Environment. We live in boxes. We work in boxes. We stare at boxes. And over time, we think in boxes.

  • Activity. Our bodies are sedentary. Our minds have become sedentary too — rarely shifting perspective, rarely engaging the full range of human cognition.

  • Culture. We interact with the world through symbols on screens. Over time we've come to value only what screens can show us. Everything else gets screened out.

These are the conditions most of us work in every day. But they aren't fixed. They can be redesigned. And when they are, Human Intelligence doesn't need to be taught. It returns.

This is the Alive Workplace Model. A research-grounded framework for designing the conditions that restore Human Intelligence.

Built on peer-reviewed research in cognitive science, environmental psychology, and I/O psychology.

Three ways to work together.

1. Human Intelligence Workshop

A half-day experience that makes the problem visible. Leadership teams are introduced to the Alive Workplace Model, experience Human Intelligence firsthand through three activities, and leave with a shared language and a clear picture of which conditions in their organization are suppressing it. $4,500.

2. Human Intelligence Experience

A four-week cohort program that begins to restore Human Intelligence. Through weekly live sessions and daily practice via Slack, participants redesign their Environment, Activity, and Culture to support Human Intelligence, applied to their own real work. $9,500.

3. Human Intelligence Design

A comprehensive organizational engagement, delivered across two workstreams. $16,500

Human Intelligence Competency Modeling. Defining what Human Intelligence (Relate, Create, and Curate) look like across your key job families (3 job families), with hiring guides, coaching guides, and performance frameworks. Additional job families are $3,000 each. Available standalone at $9,000.

Alive Workplace Conditions Assessment. A systematic assessment of your Environment, Activity, and Culture, with specific recommendations for redesign. Available standalone at $7,500.

We also offer accreditation for experiential learning programsthat develop Human Intelligence.

Project-based learning. Apprenticeships. Mentorships. Equine-assisted learning. Nature-based education.

These programs have always done what conventional education cannot — developing the full range of Human Intelligence through real conditions, real experience, real feedback, and real consequences.

The Alive Learning Accreditation is the first rigorous, research-grounded certification for programs that develop Human Intelligence. It recognizes what these programs have always known about themselves — and proves it.
